Fall in Millenium Park

First, I made this apple pie for my professor's birthday. Delicious!

Downtown Chicago has this giant park named Millenium Park. Right now it has the most gorgeous trees. Trudy and I visited it while she was here. It has this thing called "the bean".

This was at the Art Institute. That place was AMAZING! And it's free on Thursday nights, so I might just go back!

Now let me say that my birthday is coming up and since you won't be here for it maybe we should celebrate a little early! My most favorite pie in the entire world is Apple and that pie looks delicious!!! So I'm thinking you might just have to make me one for my birthday? just saying!!!! love you sweetie and looking forward to our time together over Thanksgiving! See you tomorrow!

I love the fall colors! The leaves are amazing! Oh, how I wish I could see this beautiful sight with you. So glad you had a great time visiting with each other. The Bean was a bit odd looking...made me think of a bike helmet. What an unusual sculpture.

The pie does look good even though apple isn't a favorite. It's pretty. Hope your professor enjoyed it. You're too cool to make it for her.

Love you lots and have a great Thanksgiving in Missouri. MOM
