On Saturday, before Egan's party, Ella and I took a break for a little photo shoot. I got mostly crazy, silly faces, but in between all of those I got a few sweet smiles.
Trudy made an incredibly cute dinosaur cake for Egan's birthday.
And we all pitched in to make this yummy and very photogenic fruit salad.
Ella is showing off the volcano that we used for the "Pitch the Dino into the Lava" game.
During Egan's party, the bigger kiddos were brave enough to go down the slide into the kiddie pool, but they all had pretty funny faces!
Daniel loved the water, too.
Egan opened a gazillion presents.
And then, yesterday, for Egan's birthday, we had lemon cupcakes. Here he is waiting patiently...

I really enjoyed the pictures and especially the patience that Egan used while waiting for his cupcake. I don't know if I would have had the same restraint. :)Love you, MOM
