I know, I've been MIA for a while...

and this is just going to be a really quick post, too. I've been very busy lately with class and wrapping everything up for the semester. However, I have had time to do a few layouts for a few CTs, and I thought I'd share them with you all.

This layout is with Ella Design's "Christmas is Here" Kit. You can check out this kit and all of her other stuff at Ella's store.

This layout is done with some of Sherry Ferguson's fantastic designs. This particular mini-kit is part of a larger collaboration that isn't yet available for sale, but I'll keep y'all updated. Until then, you can check out more of Sherry's stuff at her store.

Can I just say that I adore this next layout? Seriously, I love the picture and the colors and everything. It's made with The Red Porch's "Happy Garden" kit which you can check out here.

I just made this one today, and it might be my new favorite EVER. I really like the picture (of course) and I LOVE this kit. It is "Sweet Treats" by Pam of Ladybug Pages, and you can check it out at Pam's store, here.

Let me just say...

that I am exhausted. Who knew a craft fair was so tiring? Or so loud?

Let me just say...I have a horrendous headache. I'm not sure what caused it- me not eating anything all day, the noise at the craft fair, a combination of the two? Who knows? I'm about to take a gazillion Tylenol and go to sleep. (Don't worry, by a gazillion I mean 2).

Let me just say...I'm not at all ready to do this again tomorrow. Why did I sign up for this in the first place? I'm really about to go to sleep, but let me just say...

I knew I thought the stuff I made was cool, I just didn't know other people thought so, too. I sold about 3/4 of everything I had tonight. As far as animals go, I have a cat, a penguin, and 6 eggs left.

So let me just say...I feel exhausted, hungry, in pain. Who knew those things could feel so good? It's been a great night, y'all.

Ready for the Craft Fair?

Today is the beginning of the craft fair! This is what I've got...

Adult hats...

Baby hats...
Eggs...

A cute little ring box and an ipod case...

Big animals...

Little animals...

Christmas pickles...

And scrapbooks...

Wish me luck!

Don't forget about...

The Red Porch's fantastic challenges! New ones are being posted every day through Saturday, and you have a week to complete each challenge! You could win some super cool stuff...
Here's my take on today's hybrid challenge. It's a little pouch to hold a tea bag. This is the Happy Garden Kit again...
Here's the link: The Red Porch. Check out the blog for the challenges, and the store for a super cute new holiday kit.
I'll be back in the morning. The Craft Fair starts tomorrow and I want to post pictures of everything I have done.

And now a super quick one before class...

I've got about ten minutes before I have to get ready for class, but I just wanted to remind you about today's challenge at The Red Porch! Today is a template challenge, with a fantastic template created by fellow CT member Leah Riordan. You can use any products you'd like (not just TRP products!), and you could win a FULL SIZED KIT from TRP. So what are you waiting for?

Here is my layout for the challenge, made with The Red Porch's "Happy Garden" kit by Sarah Poulton. I absolutely ADORE this kit, and I can't wait to do more with it.

Get ready for a long one...

Can you believe it's December already? This year has FLOWN by, especially this semester. I am crazy busy (the craft fair is this weekend) but I wanted to update you all really quickly. Plus I promised surprises, right?

So I'll get to those first. I've been accepted onto two more Creative Teams. One is for Pam at Ladybug Pages. She is an AMAZING designer, and you can check out her work here. This is super new, so I haven't started working with her stuff yet. The other is for The Red Porch.

The Red Porch is a BRAND NEW community with gorgeous handcrafted elements for digital scrapbooking. The designers over there create the most beautiful things. Because everything is handcrafted, it would work wonderfully for hybrid projects. (In fact, TRP is pushing me towards taking the plunge into hybrid!). TRP opened it's store yesterday, so go check out all of the great stuff they have over there. Also, for opening week TRP has a FANTASTIC schedule of challenges for everyone, with even more amazing prizes.

Here is the schedule, and you can get full instructions each day over at The Red Porch Blog.
Monday - Scavenger Hunt (first 20 participants will receive a free kit)
Tuesday - Hybrid #1 Challenge
Wednesday - Template Challenge
Thursday - Hybrid #2 Challenge
Friday - "All about me" Challenge
Saturday - "Photo Challenge"

Here's what I made up for today's hybrid challenge:I'm going to print it out and give it to someone very special with a secret surprise in it. I can't go into more details because I don't want to spoil it!

And here are two layouts I did with some of The Red Porch's products.

This one uses the Neapolitan (Alpha and Kit) by Jessica McComas. This one is Maggie's Garden (Backgrounds and Elements) by Stephanie Brannock.

So, changing gears now...I had a blast at home over Thanksgiving Break. It was so great to see everyone. Nico and Daniel look like completely different babies now! They're getting so big, as are Ella, Ari, and Egan. Here are some family pictures from Thanksgiving Day. (This is just what I'm putting for now, believe me, there are a TON of great pictures.)

And then some cute pictures of the babies just for the fun of it!

Sorry, no pictures...

Because I'm typing this from the airport! I'm coming home, everybody! Woohoo! You can't even imagine my excitement. I know I haven't updated in a while, and I wish I could say it is because I've just been working so hard- but that isn't the case. Really, I've been slacking. BUT I'm trying to get back on track today.

I imagine I'll have a LONG post on Monday with pictures of the trip home and all I've made, as well as a couple of BIG announcements. I mean, they are seriously exciting. I have to hold it in for now though, so until next time: Have a Happy Thanksgiving! I know I have so much to be thankful for.

An Amazing Discovery...

I discovered something about myself last night that made me VERY HAPPY. I can read and crochet at the same time. Its amazing, truly. You see, before I knew this, I would have to stop crocheting so I could read, or stop reading so I could crochet. The first would make me feel guilty, the second would just be very frustrating. But, now that I have found this talent...it's great. I can simply do both.

Here are the little guys I made yesterday. These are quite a bit diferent from what I've been working on, but I really love them. They're adorable. They're about 3 inches wide by about 2 inches tall.

This next little guy is a chipmunk, in case you were wondering! :)
So, which is your favorite? Should I make more in this style?

All kinds of cuteness...

The past couple of days have been just gorgeous here. Right now it's in the 60s outside and super bright and sunny, which is pretty much an exact replica of yesterday. To make things even better, I had my final for Block 3 this morning, and now it's BLOCK BREAK! I have nothing to do for the next four days (except be crafty). It's going to be nice, I can tell you.

So, rememer I'm a Creative Team member for Ella Designs? And she had that humongous kit Winter Wonderland just a while back? Well, she set out to make an add-on to WW, and just kept creating, until she had another GIGANTIC kit, that fully coordinates with WW. That's pretty amazing in itself, but then, she decided to go a little bit crazy and put all of her designs on sale at 50% off!

With the sale she hopes to raise enough money to throw her son a surprise party. Ten years ago this month, her son was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes. At the five year mark, they had a fantastic party, but finances are a little bit tighter this time around. So head on over to her store, and help her out! Here's a preview of When It Snows, Ella's newest kit. You can check out all the details here.

And here are a couple of sweet layouts I did with it. I don't really have any winter photos, so these two kits have really been a bit difficult for me.

I did quite a bit of crocheting yesterday, and made some super cute stuff. First, an adult sized hat. (UT colors, anyone?)
And back by popular demand, Christmas Pickles with faces.
Also, three little animals. These guys are all around three inches tall.
This little bear has the cutest little red scarf. It comes off and everything.
Remember the chubby Mama Owl? Well, here's a chubby baby owl.

Keeping myself accountable...

I really like this Christmas album. It's very simple, but the patterned papers are so pretty.
